My wife and I wish to thank you for kindly inviting us to the joyful occasion of felicitating ZTFE Trustee Mr. Rusi Dalal as Honorary Member of the Zoroastrian Trust Funds of Europe (Inc) on Sunday 18th September 2016 which we greatly enjoyed.

I must first compliment you in putting together such a well organised occasion and it was a great pleasure meeting up with Rusi and his wonderful family and all other friends.

Your leading role in introducing all the VIP speakers to the podium was again well conducted with your powerful well spoken voice with lovely words flowing, and as a 'Thank You', I have attached below 5 Video clips where I captured all the speeches, and also enclose some photographs added at the end.

Please oblige and kindly convey my grateful thanks to Dr. Sarah Stewart SOAS for kindly allowing me to share her great photographs which I have added to Rusi's blog spot. Dr. Sarah Stewart certainly captured all the action in her collection of 107 photos added below. I was also pleased to learn that Dr. Stewart has a PhD in Zoroastrian Studies.

Dear ZTFE Members & Well – Wishers

 

You are cordially invited for the joyful occasion of felicitating ZTFE Trustee Mr Rusi K Dalal as Honorary Member of the Zoroastrian Trust Funds of Europe (Inc) on Sunday 18^th September 2016 at 5.30pm, in the Zartoshty Brothers Hall, Zoroastrian Centre and partake in the celebratory meal  following the felicitation. 

This will be a good occasion to meet and thank our Trustee Mr Rusi K Dalal for his honorary services to the ZTFE and to the Zoroastrian community.

Mr Rusi K Dalal was unanimously elected ZTFE Honorary Member at the ZTFE SGM  Sunday 23^rd August 2015, for his meritorious services to  the ZTFE and to the Zoroastrian community in the United Kingdom for well over 30 years.

 

Mr Rusi K Dalal was first elected to the Managing Committee of the Zoroastrian Trust Funds of Europe at its AGM on Sunday 25^th November 1984.  At the AGM on Sunday 14^th November 1993, he was elected as the 23^rd President of our Association.  Prior to Rusi being elected President, he had served as the Association’s Honorary House Secretary (1985 – 1988), Honorary Secretary (1988 – 1992) and Vice President (1992 – 1993).  After completion of his term as President at the AGM on Sunday 16^th November 1997, Rusi continued to serve on the Managing Committee in various positions including European Coordinator (2002 – 2006) and Joint Vice – Chair of the Eight World Zoroastrian Congress hosted by the ZTFE from Friday 24^th June to Friday 1^st July 2005.  He retired from the Managing Committee after being elected Trustee of our Association at the AGM on Sunday 30^th November 2006.  He was re-elected for a second term as Trustee at the AGM on Sunday 24^th November 2013, to serve as Trustee till the end of the financial year on 31st March 2020.
